Welcome to PlanAway. By downloading or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. About PlanAway

PlanAway is a travel planning app developed by Laura Richter (sole proprietor), Germany. The app allows users to plan trips, manage tasks, track expenses, and collaborate with travel companions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PlanAway. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use another person's account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.

4. Free and Premium Features

PlanAway offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription ("PlanAway Premium") with full access. The free tier includes:


- Up to 2 trips

- Up to 5 members per trip

- Up to 3 documents per trip

- Up to 10 photos per trip

- Up to 5 roadtrip stops per trip


PlanAway Pro removes these limits and provides access to additional features.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

PlanAway Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription.


**Pricing and billing:** Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.


**Auto-renewal:** Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.


**Cancellation:** You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (App Store) or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will continue to have access to Pro features until then.


**No refunds:** We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.


**Managing subscriptions:**

- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PlanAway to:


- Violate any applicable laws or regulations

- Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

- Reverse engineer or copy any part of the app


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to PlanAway (photos, documents, trip data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.


We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

8. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep PlanAway available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will notify users of significant changes where reasonably possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanAway and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for PlanAway Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
